The Beat Goes On for Ashley & David’s Stormy Soiree

Okay, we’ll say it. No one wants rain on their wedding day. We know the old wives’ tale, that rain on a wedding day is good luck… but let’s face it. We’d all prefer picture perfect blue skies with those iconic puffy clouds at sunset just to make the sky even more magical. Alas, even with the best team of wedding vendors, we cannot control the weather. Such was the case for Ashley & David’s wedding day. The skies opened up throughout their reception and flooded their lush garden wedding but truly made for the most epic dance party we’ve captured in a while. Of course the dance party would have been epic with or without the memorable thunderstorms when the groom is a professional DJ and the guest list is full of fun-loving friends and family who are ready to dance the night away. We love a one-of-a-kind wedding day, and sometimes the magic lies in the unexpected!
